We believe waxing is less about removing unwanted hair and more about being comfortable and empowered.

ERICKA

Ericka Rojas received her cosmetology license in July 2013 and immediately developed a passion for waxing. She spent 6+ years honing in on her waxing skills and at the same time noticed the simple lack of Spanish speakers in the hair removal waxing industry. It was then that the idea of wanting to create a business that embodied inclusivity started growing. She envisioned developing a waxing service accessible to not just one demographic but to many.

CARMELITA

In the spring of 2014, Carmelita Ramirez received her bachelor's degree in sociology from San Jose State University and immediately found her place in the human resources field. She learned and excelled in all things HR and really focused as much as possible on inclusivity. With Carmelita’s business experience and Ericka’s waxing skills, they agreed to start a small bilingual waxing business.
